Optional Supplies:

I was really intentional about creating activities that would not require an added expense. Almost all of these activities/centers use common classroom supplies.

Of course, black lights, fluorescent Astrobrights card stock, glow bracelets and highlighters will create a fun glowing effect! Before purchasing the black lights, you may want to ask families if they have black lights you can borrow for the day.

Don't have glow dice or glow cups? No problem! Simply use regular dice and regular cups.

Although these are not all necessary, here is a list of the supplies I recommend:

  • Astrobrights Fluorescent Card Stock
  • Yellow Highlighters
  • Empty Water Bottles (for bowling)
  • Glow Bracelets (for bowling, word builders, shape builders and alphabet builders)
  • Neon Black Light Cups or Regular Cups (for glowing word families)
  • Black Light / Glow in the Dark Dice or Regular Dice (for dice games and glow letters)
  • Bright Yellow, Green or Orange Play Dough (for CVC words)
  • Black Lights

Enjoy celebrating the end of the year with these glow day activities!
