Students will choose a card, color/trace/write the number or number word, and feed the Pencil. Use erasers, pom-poms, or another manipulative to feed to the pencil.

Choose from working on letters or letter sounds. Place heart cards in a sensory bin and have students choose one at time. Students can say the letter/letter sound and feed it to the crayon box or say the letter/letter sound, color/trace/write it on a recording sheet, then feed it to the crayon box.
