The Rainbow Word Work Mats are a fun set of word work boards to use with any early literacy program. The set comes with 46 different mats in full color. The letters are sized to match with the most magnetic letter tiles (specifically, the Lakeshore lowercase letter magnetic tiles). Also included are letters that can be cut out and used with the set.
To prep, simply print the 11" x 17" pages in color, place onto a magnetic cookie sheet, and cover with magnetic letters! The download also includes some 8.5" x 11" versions for easy printing.
Make word work fun! To use, have a letter (magnetic or tile) covering each letter on the rainbow board. Students pull the letters to use when spelling and making words. Then they slide or push the letter back when they are done.
