My Eric Carle themed Literacy Center Pack has 108 pages which include 12 activities for some of Eric Carle’s most popular books. There are three sight word mini books which have innovations from The Greedy Python, Rooster’s off to see the World and A House for Hermit Crab. Creative covers are also included. Other writing activities which give children an opportunity to create and write are designed for The Honey Bee and the Robber, The Very Quiet Cricket, The Mixed- Up Chameleon, Does a Kangaroo have a Mother too? , The Foolish Tortoise, The Grouchy Ladybug and others! There is a flow map for The Very Hungry Caterpillar along with a finger puppets for retelling. There is a measurement activity for the Tiny Seed and a creative flower idea to paint with your class. All have been designed for children to do for the most part independently. These activities foster fine motor skills through writing, cutting, coloring and drawing.
