This unit contains the pieces to retell 10 popular Children’s stories. These stories all relate to a Spring Theme. By retelling, children learn that settings can change and by sequencing these settings, they can retell the stories. They also learn about characters. Children learn to sequence characters to retell. Retelling also helps children identify book patterns. Children learn that by identifying patterns, we can retell.
