STEM Bins Storyboards set the stage for creative writing! They are ideal to use in a literacy center or for whole class partner writing projects. Just add STEM Bins to create an inviting, hands-on “hook” for reluctant writers as students build their own creative story scenes.
Students choose 2 of the provided characters, build the setting for their story out of STEM Bin materials, and choose 1-2 “props.” They may use binder clips or clothespins to stand their characters and props up in their scene. Students then use their scene to plan and write a short creative story. They may also use any of the provided app extensions to create digital comic strips or videos.
