Morning Bins provide a hands-on option to morning work and can turn those busy, hectic mornings into meaningful and independent practice! Morning Bins are the perfect way to wake up those little minds. They can also be used for extra practice or early finishers!

⭐Skills included in the Morning Bins:⭐
- Rhyming and Syllables- Say words and clip ones that rhyme
- Sounds- Say a word and decide what beginning sound is then cover it according to color code
- Letters- Sort letters by uppercase and lowercase
- Sequence- Decide which event comes first
- Letter Printing- Spin spinner, find the letter and trace it
- Sort by Concept- Decide if item is hot or cold
- Finding Details- Spin spinner then find and cover item in picture
- EDITABLE Name Craft- Writer letters of name on snowballs and stack pieces
- Patterns- Use pom-poms to continue the AB pattern
- Counting Sequence- Put numbers in order from 1-10
- Making and Counting Groups- Roll a die and feed animal that many pom-poms
- Shapes- Sort items to correct shape mat
- Measurement- Sort bears on mat according to size
- Colors- Spin spinner and cover an item with matching color
- Numerals- Roll a die and trace number in column
- Comparing- Pick a card, count snowballs and show one less
- Life Skills- Look at problem and decide which tool to use
- Social/Emotional- Spin an emotion with partner then tell a time they felt the emotion
- Fine Motor- Trace the word and dotted lines on picture
- Dramatic Play- Students will pretend they are making, selling and buying hot cocoa and treats
⭐ Materials Needed⭐
Will I need a lot of extra materials for the Morning Bins? No! I have tried to create the morning bins with resources and manipulatives that you are already have in your classroom. You can easily swap out my suggested manipulatives for some that you already own. Even the monthly Dramatic Play Sets will include all that you need to get started!
⭐ Black and White Version⭐
I included a Black and White Version that you can use to print on color paper. However, there are some color games and activities that works best printed in color.
