Celebrate Easter, as you review math and literacy skills, with these highly engaging Easter centers! The Case of the Lost Eggs Easter Escape Room involves 6 or 8 different Easter centers / challenges where students eliminate the suspects and discover who has stolen the eggs!
These Easter centers can be used as an Easter Party or Easter themed math and literacy centers.

Set the stage with a note:
The eggs are gone!
Where could the be?
Someone sneaky,
Took them from me!
He wore a disguise,
Kind of funny.
It had to be,
The Easter Bunny!
Follow the trail.
Search high and low.
Catch the bunny.
Don’t let him go!
After the students complete each challenge, they will receive a clue from the culprit. A suspect will be eliminated after each challenge. Once all of the Easter centers have been completed, they will have eliminated all but one suspect!
There are 4 math and 4 literacy Easter centers included. Black and white option included. Targeted skills:
- decoding CVC words
- counting syllables 1-4
- decoding words with digraphs (ch and sh)
- beginning blends (sk, sm, sn, sp, st and sw)
- ordering numbers 1-30
- extending patterns (AB, ABB, ABC, AABB and ABCD)
- decomposing 10
- subtracting from 5
The Challenges:
- Basket Challenge - Stretch out each CVC word and arrange the lettered eggs in the correct order to build the word.
- Chick Challenge - Sort the pictures by the number of syllables.
- Bunny Challenge - Decode each word and find the matching picture.
- Lamb Challenge - Sort the pictures by beginning blend.
- Egg Challenge - Order the numbers from 1-30.
- Jelly Bean Challenge - Extend each pattern.
- Dye Challenge - Match the number sentence to the correct ten frame.
- Carrot Challenge - Read the equation and cover the correct number of carrots. Find the difference.
