Mindful Characters is a social emotional learning program designed specifically for our little learners in PreK – 1st Grade! The weekly mentor text and companion lessons focus on just one social skill. That means students can build critical character education skills in a bite-sized, easy to understand manner. Plus, they provide opportunities for meaningful discussions and active participation, as well as help improve classroom climate.

With the primary content areas filling up most of our daily schedules, these daily character education lessons are designed to be quick, taking no more than 15-20 minutes! They are easy to prep and manageable for the busy teacher. This mentor text companion pack focuses on recognizing emotions and would make a great addition to your morning meeting routine.
