What are Morning Tubs / Bins?
These age appropriate Preschool/ Pre-K Morning Bins are a great way to incorporate literacy, math, fine motor skills, and tons of PLAY into your morning routine! These bins are not limited to mornings, but can also be used for your early/fast finisher tubs, or just for some quiet exploration time at the end of the day!

⭐Skills included in the Morning Bins:⭐
- Rhyming and Syllables- Decide if words on cards rhyme or not
- Sounds- Link picture with the same beginning sound
- Letters- Pick letter on board and find matching letter tile
- Sequence- Put pictures in order
- Letter Printing- Use play dough to build the letter
- Sort by Concept- Decide if item is for summer or fall
- Finding Details- Match pieces of picture to the squares
- EDITABLE Name Practice- Decorate names with stickers, glitter, sprinkles, etc.
- Patterns- Use colored snap cubes to replicate pattern
- Counting Sequence- Put strips in order from 1-5
- Making and Counting Groups- Count apples and put them in tree
- Shapes- Find and cover given shape on mat
- Measurement- Look at items, compare height and clip tallest item
- Colors- Spin spinner and add pom-pom on item with matching color
- Numerals- Roll die and find number on mat
- Comparing- Count items on both sides and clip side that has more
- Life Skills- Spin spinner and dress bear according to weather
- Social/Emotional- Look at picture and decide if safe or not
- Fine Motor- Use play dough to build shapes or items
- Dramatic Play- Students will pretend they are at a pumpkin patch
⭐ Materials Needed⭐
Will I need a lot of extra materials for the Morning Bins? No! I have tried to create the morning bins with resources and manipulatives that you are already have in your classroom. You can easily swap out my suggested manipulatives for some that you already own. Even the monthly Dramatic Play Sets will include all that you need to get started!
⭐ Black and White Version⭐
I included a Black and White Version that you can use to print on color paper. However, there are some color games and activities that works best printed in color.
