What are Morning Tubs / Bins?
Morning Bins provide a hands-on option to morning work and can turn those busy, hectic mornings into meaningful and independent practice! These play based tubs / bins are the perfect way to wake up those little minds! No grading, no pressure, just fun and engaging practice!

⭐Skills included in the Morning Bins:⭐
- Vocabulary- Build a vocabulary word with magnetic letters then match the picture to the word
- Sounds- Sort the pictures with the matching sound
- Segment and Blend- Figure out the CVC words by switching letters on each ladder step
- Sight Words- Roll a die, read the sight word correct color of snap cubes to form picture
- Sequence- Flip a card and cover the letter that comes next in the alphabet
- Sentences- Spin a noun and a verb, then write a sentence
- Grammar- Flip a card and decide if it needs a capital letter or not
- Writing- Flip a silly character and clothing item then write a story
- Rhymes, Syllables and Compound Words- Sort pictures into groups that rhyme
- Text- Use any book to find a period, question and exclamation mark, then write a sentence
- Count Sequence- Fill in missing number 1-100
- Comparing Numbers and Making Groups- Flip a card and use manipulatives to model number then divide in two equal groups
- Representing Numbers- Spin a number and build tally marks with popsicle sticks
- Base 10- Put together number card puzzles based on pieces that match base ten number
- Fluency- Spin a number and cover the number that adds to ten
- Addition and Subtraction- Flip, add and match the sum on the correct board
- Measurement and Data- Sort shapes by number of sides
- Geometry- Sort and match 2D and 3D shapes
- Time and Money- Sort coins onto piggy banks
- Patterns and Fractions- Look at and determine pattern type, then recreate it
- Social/Emotional: Regulating Myself and Relating to Others- Flip a card, then write about a time they had or saw a friend with that feeling
