The Little Miss Retro classroom makeover took place in Chicago for our dear teacher friend LaShana. We completely transformed her fifth-grade classroom with a stunning mural, fresh wallpaper, new furniture, and gorgeous decor. One of the biggest challenges we tackled was the lack of storage—now, that’s no longer a problem! We also focused on creating a functional and organized layout to accommodate 28+ students while ensuring the space flowed beautifully. LaShana truly deserved this makeover, and we’re beyond grateful to have given her a dreamy classroom where she can spend her days inspiring young minds.

Collection: Little Miss Retro Classroom Makeover

Boho Classroom Makeover

The beautiful Little Miss Retro Classroom Makeover was designed with a twist, to create a unique space for our teacher!

A stunning collision of retro and boho - where disco balls and fringe are BFF's, and muted tones meet groovy elements. The love for the color pink stands centerstage instantly making the space calm and tranquil. And the vibes of bohemian beauty are woven throughout in the details.

There is a heartbeat behind each makeover --- the heartbeat of Schoolgirl Style -- to partner with teachers in making their classrooms extensions of their homes. Classroom makeovers, and the creation of beautiful classroom decor, have so much depth to it. Classrooms are little havens, safe places, where students can grow and learn. A place where they can ask questions and learn from mistakes. It's a place for them to call home.
