Printable April Dear Earth Writing Craftivity and Read Aloud Mini Lesson – Inspire students to think about how we can protect our planet with the Dear Earth Writing Craftivity and Read Aloud Mini Lesson. This activity pairs a meaningful writing craft with a guided mini lesson designed to accompany a read aloud about caring for the Earth. The included teacher guide provides before, during, and after reading prompts to support discussion and reflection.
Students will write a persuasive letter to the Earth promising ways they will help protect it. Their writing is placed on a round writing page and topped with a cut-out Earth craft, creating a thoughtful Earth-themed display or take-home piece.
While this activity is designed to pair beautifully with a read aloud mini lesson, it can also be used as a standalone writing craft for Earth Day or spring writing lessons.
