Morning Bins provide a hands-on option to morning work and can turn those busy, hectic mornings into meaningful and independent practice! Morning Bins are the perfect way to wake up those little minds. They can also be used for extra practice or early finishers!

⭐Skills included in the Morning Bins:⭐
- Rhyming and Syllables- Say the word in the middle and clip rhyming word
- Sounds- Cover words that start with the letter sound
- Letters- Cover letters from A-Z to make a path
- Sequence- Put pictures in order of events
- Letter Printing- Trace letters three times each
- Sort by Concept- Decide if item is for Fall or Winter
- Finding Details- Find the hidden objects in the picture
- EDITABLE Name Craft- Write the letters on name on chimney piece
- Patterns- Look at pattern and clip item that comes next
- Counting Sequence- Count to five and decide which number is missing on card
- Making and Counting Groups- Spin spinner, count items and cover a number to match
- Shapes- Cover shapes according to color code
- Measurement- Look at three items and clip item that is smallest
- Colors- Look at color and clip items that are usually that color
- Numerals- Use play dough to make number and count out marshmallows
- Comparing- Count cooking and find card with same number cups of milk
- Life Skills- Write on, clean and hang up clothes on clothesline
- Social/Emotional- Pick and emotion card, color face on gingerbread to match and tell friend why it looks like that
- Fine Motor- Practice placing pony beads on lines
- Dramatic Play- Students pretend they are packing, wrapping and shipping gifts
⭐ Materials Needed⭐
Will I need a lot of extra materials for the Morning Bins? No! I have tried to create the morning bins with resources and manipulatives that you are already have in your classroom. You can easily swap out my suggested manipulatives for some that you already own. Even the monthly Dramatic Play Sets will include all that you need to get started!
⭐ Black and White Version⭐
I included a Black and White Version that you can use to print on color paper. However, there are some color games and activities that works best printed in color.
