Breakdown and Notes:
- 100 Fact Multiplication Benchmark Quiz - I give this quiz four times per year (typically every 9 weeks) The goal is for students to decrease their finish time while increasing their scores each time they take the quiz throughout the year.
- 1-Minute Timed Quizzes (0-12) - I give students 1-minute to complete the quiz. This discourages counting on fingers, and students must have multiplication facts mastered to pass. It’s easier if you copy all of these ahead of time. Students must make 100% to get a sticker on their incentive chart.
- Multiplication Mastery Letter to Parents (EDITABLE) - You can change any of the wording, add the date of your ice cream party, and the ending date to master all facts. Change the order of multiplication mastery if needed. I usually send this letter home towards the end, and sometimes I send it twice.
- Multiplication Quiz Schedule for Students (EDITABLE) - You can change the dates before printing, and change the order of multiplication mastery if you need to. You can also change any wording.
- Multiplication Study Log for Students (EDITABLE) - You can change any of the wording in this file. Students keep this study log in their binders if they choose to use it.
- Build Your Own Ice Cream Sundae Poster for the Classroom (EDITABLE) - you can change the order of multiplication facts mastery before printing. This is a great reminder poster for students.
- Build Your Own Ice Cream Sundae Pieces for Students - I've included pieces for students to build their own ice cream sundaes as they pass each quiz. Copy on white construction paper or cardstock. Allow students to color and build their sundae!
- 3 Different Sets of Mini Incentive Charts for Students - These look great on a bulletin board. When students pass a 1-minute quiz with 100% mastery, I give them a small sticker to place on their incentive chart. (Laminate for durability)
- Multiplication Chart: Facts at a Glance Card for Students - Copy on colored cardstock and laminate for durability.
- Congratulations Card for Students (EDITABLE) - Hopefully, (fingers crossed) everyone wins something here! Check off the items each student earned and invite them to the party.
- Ice Cream Sundae Party Items Request Sheets to send home to parents - In the past, I’ve asked parents to help with the needed items for the party. I have also purchased them on my own. I have added these small notes to go home in case you need them.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Exactly what I needed to motivate my students to learn their multiplication facts! I can't wait to have an ice cream party with them once they complete all their facts. Thank you for creating this great resource! - Beatrice E.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I always do a Multiplication Club every year with my students where try to become a member by getting a certain % correct for each multiplication times table. At the end of the year, I would throw a big pizza party for those who mastered all of the tables, but it was hard for some students to master all of them. What I love about this resource is that now students can earn something extra for each table they master! Much more engaging. - Rad in Elementary

Frequently asked question:
Q: Do you quiz all students on the same fact set each week? I love this resource and idea, but I am trying to think of the best way to manage this if you have students not pass the quiz for the week.
A: Students take the quizzes are their own pace. For example, some students will pass 0-5 fairly quickly and others will take longer. Use the incentive charts on a bulletin board to keep track. On the day of the quiz, give the student the quiz they are currently on and haven't passed yet. There's a suggested schedule in the download. It's easy to keep up with individual student quizzes if you use incentive charts or a checklist.
